I will probably redo the entire engine during the winter, so is there a place where I can buy the tool to remove and install the connecting rod bushing ?

Get your rods done by a proper engine rebuild machine shop, its not just a case of fitting new bushings, the big end needs to be rehoned/sized and the pin bush needs to be reamed in a special fixture to ensure straightness

I am planning to get the bushing cylinder pin machined by a professional guy, but I am looking to do as much as I can on my own.

I was able to remove the heads and check the inside of the cyclinder.
Lot of soot on the piston but there seems not have any overheat.

Does anyone have any way to remove the cylinder without breaking any fin?

I have tried to remove them but impossible they do not move from their position in the case. However piston can move freely

Everything went well until I look closer at the pushrod 4 and 8 that seemed to have a flat in the middle of the curved profile..
See the 2 rod on the left.

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

And looking at the cam that seemed in good condition I found the number 4 had a flat on the lob too:

Here is as reference the number 3 that seems to have a better lob profile.

something I did not know is that the pushrod had a little mark on each of them so we know exactly their position from 1 to 7.

see picture from right to left:

So about the pushrod and cam,
looking at the issue I found does anyone know if the cam could be reground or is it too late and I need to replace it?.

Same for the pushrod, do I need to change the one having the flat on them ?

Replace the cam and all pushrods.
The ones in your pics are junk.

cool thanks for the confirmation John.
I saw there was some cam and pushrod for sale as ''reground''.
I don t know if these are worth to invest or I should wait and find NOS part.
