Check out the rockers. Not sure what brand, got them from A.J. Simms who did my heads. Really happy with them, super easy to adjust. They are 1.25 ratio's and look similar to Porsche 356/912 rockers I've seen. |

Empi remote oil adapter; Bugpack mounting bracket and a good oil filter (see posts about oil filters). Stainless steel braided teflon lines 1/4" straight at the pump, 3/8" swivel at the filter. I used one 3/8" x close nipple with a 3/8" elbow and a 3/8 x 1" nipple with elbow for the other line so I could tighten them up without hitting each other. No leaks at the filter but the oil pump is seeping a little.

I used to have one, part of my external oil filter/oil cooler kit from 1976. But I didn't like the location (messy, crowded), now use a Maxi 2 combined pump/filter kit, from Claude's Buggies (now CB Performance). _________________ 1970 VW (owned since 1972) and 1971 VW Convertible (owned since 1976), second owner of each. Anyone have a remote spin on oil filter? Where did you buy it? Do you have a pic? |
