Hi all,
Does any know of a small garage in upstate NY (Plattsburgh or so) or upstate VT (Rouse point).
I just bought shocks from the tire rack, shipped in NY state, and would like to have them installed locally before re-entering Canada.
Thanks,

Craigs VW, just outside Burlington.
Great guy. Honest and a VW fanatic. Many Westys on his lot.

Thanks Cheek.
I did find this one, you mentioned it before. I was wondering if there was anyone else on the other side.
Worst case, I'll just take the boat and visit around. Supposed to be nice.

I second Craigs and or Eurotech, both good shops in Burlington area. While you wait service, call Vermont Tire on Williston Road. |

If you look for parts, like Mark wrote, go see John Hamill at John's Car Corner in Westminster. His garage is like a museum and there's a lot of parts for vanagon even for syncro.

Do you get the "have you had any work done on your car?" questions upon reentry? _________________ 1984 Vanagon GL

I did not use any of them yet. I might not need.
If all goes well, I might simply have Ben Huot do all the work at the same place.
