Cathodic protection will unquestionably work on boats emerged in water. Will it work on bare steel? I have no idea.
The one testimonial they gave a location for was from Oregon. Cars in OR almost don't rust no matter what you do with them. I have a 1936 Chevy in the yard that is covered with a 50 year accumulation of dirt and moss, and haven't been able to find any serious rust on it as of yet. Paint what paint, there is none to be seen, just bare metal exposed to the elements.
Not saying the product doesn't work, just don't know how it would. |
