The bend in the middle of it is not original......

Treasure chest door
Bumpers
Nose
Dash
Front doors
Possibly portions of the gates

The whole thing looks like someone sculpted it out of clay but didn't get the shape right. Then they dropped it and the cab part bent.

What's with the gaps around the door, and is it me or does it look like the truck was bent in half?

That thing is just fuckered. Just how does that happen? How come everything down there looks so twisted and tweaked? I mean, Ive seen cars get old and fall apart these always look as if somebody tried to melt them. Who is responsible for these acts?

Those pre 55 buses have a weak frame under the front seat.
The frame sort of stops at the beam, so with a little rust and a small crash
in the front its bent. They could have even slowly been bent down over time.

Hi Skim,

responsible for these acts are:

1. poor country, people have little resources,
2. poor roads........it´s a poor country,
3. unskilled mechanics. Gerson is the only skilled mechanic when it comes to barndoors in this country, no doubt.
4. No access to original parts because of high import taxes.
5. and in some ocasions rough wheather conditions also have taken there tole (rain forest climate and the coastal areas)

These are some of the responsible acts. The buses Gerson finds are in the exact same condition as mine when he buys them. Why...same country, roads, mechanics etc. etc.
Only difference between his buses and mine: he restores them before selling them. I sell them as are.

Cheers,

Sander

If I was down there I would get into the bondo business. It seems like theres no shortage in that market.
