Over the weekend I picked up this pretty straight mostly original and fairly rust free '73 super. I'm the 3rd owner. 1st was a little old lady in phoenix, second owner bought it in the early 90's. Always been in Arizona except when in storage in wisconsin. The PO#2 took it to wisconsin for grad school but never drove it and it stayed in the garage. All the rubber is baked and hard and crusty from the Arizona heat. I'm going to get started replacing some of the obvious broken/worn out bits. Step 1 is replacing the front end as it is a wee bit ticklish above 35mph. It was repainted in the 90's after the front drivers fender was crunched I'll update this post as I do stuff to it. hope to spend some time making it my daily driver so i can park the van for some drivetrain work. I'll keep you all posted on the repair/rebuild

Nice looking S/B, before I did a lot of work on the frt. end [we bit ticklish at 35]
I would remove all the wt's as in pic. #2 and take it to a dealer who can bal. the frt. tires while on the car. just a thought.  |

| Congrats! Looks like it's in similar condition to the 72 I just picked up. Try swapping the right front tire to the rear, might help the steering wobbles. |

It needs new tires anyway, so I will get some new ones. The steering wheel wiggles a whole bunch before anything begins to happen at the wheel end, so it is definitely needing some new bushings at least. This is gonna be fun!
