I haven't seen the any in the stock size available in white walls. I was just happy to get the tires I have! no more wild drives with these Hankook 185R14 tires.
before shot just after I got it and had washed it and cleaned up the top. Can't really see how badly the doors were rusted nor how much rust had been painted over.

...those Hancocks look like they should last you awhile too. Im running 195-70 passenger radials and decided to give white walls a try.
I'm glad I did. I like the way they look. My bus is much lighter then yours so the passenger radials was a good choice.
Mine had more rust then yours but it's squared away now. I also pressur washed the bottom and sprayed it with a black acrylic industrial coating. _________________ 75 type 2 http://gusc1.tripod.com/1975vwtype2

yep, a Westy is heavy and when loaded with gear and passengers is HEAVY. Those passenger tires I had made for some wild moments driving on the highway. The Hankooks really make a difference in how the Westy handles, its sure footed now going over bumps makes little difference.
Now the LSD in the transmisson so far makes a big difference in the rain on slick streets. Talk about being sure footed!
Back to paint- It really makes it nice not seeing rust or primer and it makes me feel good to drive it. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine

Looks really nice bleyseng. You did all that yourself at home with a spray rig, right? (what was the rig?) I'm eventually gonna do that, but at the moment, I'm just buying one $50 L11H rattle can to do the windshield frame before I replace the windshield. The wife sez I can buy a spray rig when I get the body work done, so I can paint hers too, when she gets it.
Again... looks sweet, and I can't see a single run or drip from 10' away... _________________ 1984 CABRIOLET 6spd, quaife diff, Neuspeed springs, sway bars, tie bar, short shift kit, bilstein shocks, 16X7 RSE 3pc wheels, BFG TA 205 40s

By the way, some Tilex will make that fiberglass pop-top look brand new. |

I did it with a HVLP gun set from Eastwood and a small finish compressor with two small tanks. Shoots at 20lbs of air pressure.
Not much overspray at all!
I'll try the Tilex. _________________ 70 Ghia Black convert-9/69 build date-stock w/133k 1600 SP-barn find now with a rebuilt tranny and engine
