My Beetle just popped a snow tire when i was changing tires because snow is coming here in Finland. So i need new snow tires. What kind of i can buy. The model is 2012. Also can i put different model front than to the back if these older tires are in good condition?
I checked two kind of tires but i'm considering between same model that i have previously and different model. Can anyone help me with this. Does the car go unbalanced or something?
Between: https://www.nokiantires.com/tires/passenger-car/winter-tires/ (hakkapeliitta 8.)
and https://www.continental-tires.com/car/tires?cartype=car&season=winter (IceContact 2) _________________ Ex cars: VW beetle 1990, VW Golf IV

Is you car lowered or stock height? Stock steel wheels?
There should be no problem replacing just a pair of tires as long as both front and rear are similar and both are either studded or non-studded. Don't use studs on one end and non-studded on the other end. That would create a hazardous traction imbalance.
That Nokia Hakkapelitta is a notoriously great winter tire. _________________ nothing |

Hi All!
We have these rims that came on a 1972 Porsche 914 which was bought in the '80's sometime.
The Markings on the wheel are:
COSMIC 5KJ x 14
MADE IN ENGLAND
REG DES No. 958,077
What are the chances anyone has any additional information on them?

Picked these up, they are 14 inch wheels. Didn't see any markings on the backside. I believe they are Appliance wheels.
The webbing near the lip is cutout which is pretty distinctive, any thoughts?
