Holy hell. How does one even begin to fix that? Rear hatch, deck lid don't close. Slider probably won't slide. Front glass frame is likely bent.... |

The roll over aside, it spent most of it's life in Key West. Look at the rust by the battery tray, I am sure the entire bus suffers the same. When I lived in the Keys I had a NICE '79 bus that was eaten by the salt. |

Those VW campers are really valuable. I heard of one on a big auction house going for like about $100,000.
Got some patina, for sure.

Does every part supplier online have horrible shipping fees? I’m looking for small items that only cost a few dollars, but the shipping is sometimes triple the price. I don’t want to pay $20 for a spark plug. |

Shipping costs money, and our shipping carrier fees in USA are among the highest, unfortunately. Order small parts like plugs locally. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

Or just make bigger orders. It cost about the same to ship 20 plugs as one, then the unit price of shipping is 1/20.
This is a good reason to buy some of that special stuff from Bus depot, German supply, Vanagain or similar places, get your spark plugs shipped free.

The cost of shipping parcels here just seems insane anymore, and it's starting to cut into sales. USPS seems to be raising prices at least a couple times a year, and the other carriers follow suit. _________________ Немає виправдання для війни! Я з Україною.

What... I can't see how you cold reinstall that in another Bus.
I think this guy is setting himself up for throwing away some money |
I can't see the epic amount of labor to surgically remove it....which I did when I was planning my deluxe project. it probably took me 2 hours to remove without doing more damage to it.
and bill, you're right _________________

When the seller says the bus is in "fair" condition, he must be referring to the steering wheel.
It's the only thing not totally trashed. _________________ -Kent-

Pretty sure that the iternationally accepted grading system includes the following , in order:
Best
Better
Good
Fair
Unfair
Archeological evidence
So, "FAIR"
seems about right.
Actually, I like it., but would be wary if the rusty metal is badly pitted, I would pass. If the A pillars are okay, I'd prolly straighten the nose. Front bumper, not so much.
It seems the pop top and CURTAINS are still in place.
What conversion it this? Sportsmobile?
Oh, Extra zero in the price. $500, not $500.
And its a 72.

It's beyond "poor" condition IMO. It's a parts bus. _________________ "A rolling bus gathers no rust." |
