So you go through all the trouble of shaving the original turn signals just so you can add shitty autozone specials on the bumper?

It kind of looks like the front end was bashed in up to the roof line. Then "custom" touches were added to cover it up.
Methinks there is a lot of lipstick on this one, nice cover.

Is this the same one that we were bitching about last year or so with the bra covering the punched in nose?

I see this 1968 Westy on ebay and cannot believe anybody would pay that much for such a rough car. Allegedly the single port motor is rebuilt, but it is rusty, no poptop canvas, brakes, fuel tank, and it has the coveted single side swinging side door. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Volkswagen-Bus-Vanag...mp;vxp=mtr
Kinda makes my 1970 look restorable. (The one the tree fell on)

Red gingham curtains in a light blue bus is kinda off to me. Those crappy pics are not helping him sell either. Also, looks like front end has some dents. Maybe that's just the bad lighting or bad picture.

Bay prices are insane now! Are people really paying this much? Maybe it's time to sell.

Offered for sale is a 100% original unrestored first paint, and never welded factory westfalia bus

With the wrong reproduction front seat covers. Missing the closet too. Dogleg also looks like it could use some work. Maybe worth half of what he's asking. Nice patina though.

idk, that might clean up to a nice patina with a lot of elbow grease. There is definitely some surface rust, but I don't see much through rust (**in those pictures.)

Kids,

Tiz the season. Spring-Summer is a seller's market to all those pie-eyed people wanting adventure on the road.

And yes, they are selling for higher prices.

I donít personally like patina all that much, I just needed to say something nice about the bus Laughing I just saw it on the ads, not really looking at buying it. Skills, Ď74 - Ď75 buses had a closet on the drivers side. And yes, I always look at the rust buckets...

I donít think so, it has both cabinets instead on one and a jump seat.

yes, it should have a cabinet back there...not a closet. you said closet, so I was thinking you were thinking it should have a closet like the earlier buses did.

semantics, sure...but I have always known them as a rear cabinet
