good luck on this... the top's not even bolted on, no photos of the hammocks, or roof canvas/vinyl? those are the hardest parts of a dormobile to get right.

At $44,700 you get charged the labor that "was" needed to finish. _________________

So is he offering a $44,700 bus that you get to choose how it gets finished, or is this a what-you-see-is-what-you-get thing? _________________ '78 Bus 2.0FI

Hello,
Heck one of you guys should call him. His name is Wes.
I've been by his shop there in Ventura Ca., before. It's right around the corner from Airhead. He has a crew working for him, he does this for a living... He does sub out his body and paint though.
He gives the "new" bay owner what they are looking for....
I'm sure you can choose the color and layout of the interior at this point. If you have enough money, I'm sure he would have it repainted the color of your choice also.... |

Its a confusing ad. Will it be done for that price? Im sure it will, but the reaser pics are of an unfinished bus. Im sure to spark interest. _________________

Is that the fuel vent hose running into the deck lid? Is that a popular place to run that? I notice mine is missing that tee and I'm not sure where that line goes. Deck lid seems an odd choice. _________________ 78 Westy |

That looks like the wiring to the license plate light. _________________ -Kent-

I'd wonder how he/they did a "frame off" on a unibody? _________________ Contact me at [email protected]

Hello,
Who said anything about running? Just says has a type I engine...and 4speed.
He will deliver, meaning: he's going to put it on a trailer... ain't going to walk home...
Yes, a lot of unknowns there.... The vette maybe there for a reason(hiding the rust line)... it is south of Buffalo NY. Yet, it could be clean?.
But, you are correct, he needs much better pictures.... |
