That red and white bus is not horrible, though I don't like it.I really don't like the whitewalls, two tone seats, painted VEE on the nose

All these seem like a LOT of money to me.
I guess I've probably had more than 8 bay winodows and usually they were $100-800. Only have one now, a 1970 Westy that was free because a tree fell on the left A pillar.
If truly rust free, they are better than any midwest cars I see recently.
And price/ value is just a snapshot in time. they go up and will go down.

33 grand for this? I mean it's nice and all. The wheels are not Porsche but are repros but the engine is at least a Porsche case. They could also have reattached the heater tube to the fan. 33?

This is kinda interesting.
Actually an original 1974 automatic
california emissions that had factor Bosch L-Jetronic. the very first model of FI type 2.
Never seen one before but the parts are always mentioned in parts listings.
Not a bad bus or bad deal.

Really? If you’re going to ask 4x top dollar on it, I’d recommend cleaning it first so a potential buyer can see what’s what.
It’s a cool Bus, and has potential. But without much mention of rust issues I will assume it needs work. The “extra set of doors for extra cost” tells me the originals are toast, and I’m betting the rust didn’t stop at the bottom of the doors.
For $12k I think that Bus should at least be driving and stopping under its own power. |

True that. The White 74 hardtop Westy is sold. I feel like a new kid again getting into my T3 stuff.

Well in this case I’d say it subtracts value. Got a picture of the sticker but not the dog legs or the floor. Either lazy or hiding worse things. Seller probably says “too busy to take any more pictures people are coming to look at it every day just bring money and a trailer!” I’m glad the P/O of my bus was an honest guy that took lots of pictures.

I think what irks people on any add is a cavalier attitude of not needing to sell, acting like they don't want to sell or that they know what they have and in their vast knowledge come off as superior.
Now other than knowing Im superior to the better portion of people that read the words I put on the interweb, I present adds that explain, in detail & back with pictures all that I have and maybe exactly why I want "X$" for it. When I put my 74 up for sale, the main comment was dayum, what didn't you put in the description? The main question I got was is it still available. We would think that some of this stuff is universal, but hey we also have a saying for common sense .......
Two things, yes I deliberately called it an "add"  AND I was joking, Im superior to all of you.
