Everything is relative I guess. I know some people in that part of the world who would call that showroom fresh. |

Hello,
IDK, but scary in a strong cross wind, I would say. But it's clean and set for the mini van life get away. |

This is the official BAY whine.
"The new Volkswagen van was launched in 1975 in Berlin. The name given to Volkswagen's large transporter was as functional as the entire vehicle: it was just called LT, which is simply the abbreviation of Lasten-Transporter (that basically means heavy load transporter ot cargo transporter).[2]
The Transporter LT came in three gross vehicle weights, from 2.8 to 3.5 tons (LT 28, LT 31, LT 35), with two wheelbases, two roof options, and with bodywork options as a panel van, a compact, a platform vehicle, and a chassis cab combination. "
Not a Bay. |

I always laugh when sellers say something is in excellent condition, except for a few problems that are easy fixes. If they’re so easy, why wouldn’t you just fix them?

Because they tried, and failed. That’s why they are selling! _________________ '71 Westy |

The first one, do you not love the black paint over the bondo that is filling the rust holes
The second, is it completely missing one edge of the drip rail |
But hey, the second one at least has half naked chick in the pictures, that is a plus! Can you imagine what it looks like underneath all the paint. This bus looks like nightmare to me _________________ 1975 Westfalia in Brilliant Orange

Saw these and had a few questions:
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2056495
Wouldn't these cause the drums to get hot since they cover the vent holes?
If I add these to smoothies would they become double smoothies and would I get better gas mileage due to less friction?
If they get stolen have I been robbed by a "smooooothie criminal"? |

Runs and drives. I don’t have the time knowledge or money to get this van to the condition it deserves to be in. When restored worth quite a chunk of change, second year of production and I’m asking less than what it’s worth. |

1970 Volkswagen pop top westy. 1600, new gas tank, german carb, pertronix dist, muffler and blue tooth stereo. Westy kit is complete minus the child cot. Ice box has the water tank. Interior needs some love, cushions aren't the best as you can see in the pics. Canvas is in good shape. I bought some pergo to do the floor which I'll include as well. I'll also include a thule roof rack. My wife and I have been all over in this bus. Camping up in the Adirondacks, Rhode island, out to boston and down to Jersey. It's been off the road for the last few years. I replaced the carb, distributor, intake manifold and exhaust then I started having a engine issue. It was like i was turning the key on and off really fast. I'm thinking it's either electrical or the cheap empi manifold. I also have a bunch of brake parts that go with it. Bus started life in California and I bought it from Texas. Body is in decent shape, usual dings and dents but no real rust. Battery tray has been replaced. Somewhere along its life there was an engine fire. Rear cushion has charred marks and someone spray painted it, poorly. They didn't even remove the spare tire..lol Bus is sold in as is condition. $13,000 cash only, face to face. I can possibly deliver for an extra charge within a reasonable distance. Texting is best during the week. |

Awesome, I was wondering if my bus would show up here..lol _________________ 63 T1 Ragtop Gulf Blue
