I have searched the forum for weeks trying to get a good idea of what would be the best tire combo for my basically stock 65 T1. I was wondering if the 195/70/15 would fit safely under the stock rear fenders (car is not lowered in rear) I have an adjustable beam but no drop spindles. Just looking to fill up the wheel well a little more. Thanks for your help guys.

195/70 should be fine under the rear fender at stock height. I ran 195's on 4.5" rims for a couple years without any problems, on your 4" rims it might be a bit of a squeeze, but it's been done before.

Beam/spindles won't really affect what you can fit in the rear. I probably wouldn't go with 195s on the front if its lowered at all and stock width.

I have not picked out tires for the front yet but had thought about 175/65/15. I don't want to be on the ground, my car is a daily. Just looking to get a little bit of a rake and fill up the wheel wells a little better. I was rinning 14'' bus rims on the front with 185s on them and that was too wide. (rubbed the beam)

Thanks for the info.[/img]
