Yeah Im home brotha..Out in 29 Palms right now.. Little warm.. Just enjoying the fact that I love my country..lol.. Went to pomona on Sunday.. Seen Scott from Pedal Werks there, he had a booth and his pimped out pedals were blinging up the row.. Awesome work.. talked to him a couple times while weaving in and out of the rows.. trying to see if there was anything I needed....
Whats up Scott!! I have that mug for you brotha.. Ill be sure to get it to you before the next Pomona.. so you can put some warm drink in it....
As for the vee dub, just trying to get more installed on the 54.. and see if everything I purchased came in.. Im missing a few items from overseas locations.. but its just that they were returned cause mamma didnt get them from the post office.. So now I have to pay for shipping again.. and get them sent back to me..
3 Fold Rag Top Im doing my rag mechanism right now.. polishing all the necessary peices and refurbising all the goodies.. I purchased my tan canvas top from Wolsfburg West, still need to buy or fabricate one of them wooden guide parts.. Ill be posting pics soon.. I polished the aluminum, and sprayed with clear.. Then painted the other pieces.. Looks good though..
Ribbed Body Trim Installed the stainless ribbed body trim and the drivers side Albert mirror.. Man!! A small tear came out when I had to cut the new stainless for the Albert Swann Neck.. but it looks good now..
Im going to stop by and check out some 5 Spokes today..Pictures should be posted by tomorrow eveing..
Thanks for the kick in the buns.. Ive been poking my head in here looking.. just needed that extra..

Okay heres the latest... I posted some questions in a few other threads in questions that I had on the 3 Fold Installation Process.. I didnt get any responses.. but kinda figured it out.. Heres the pictures of the 3 Fold Installed.. Just a dry run of course.. had to make a few adjustments to make sure it slid in the rails okay..

Got a little too anxious.. Had to put it on.. Cant wait to the Narrowed Beam gets in.. I have a question that I posted on another thread in the wheel section.. Maybe some of you brothas or sistas may know.. What size spacer plate do I need to mount the 5 Spokes on there? I really dont want to send the drums out to get milled..as Id like to keep them as original as possible.. So id rather use the spacer plate.. Anyone? Confused

first i would like to say what a great build you have as i have been following your progress and i admire the work being done, those 5 spokes look like the late rocket repops, you will have problems running a dust cap and front wheel caps on the rims as they both dont fit, i ran those same wheels on my old 58 and i dont recall using wheel spacers, but to save you a headache and if you do plan on staying with 5 spokes, sell those and get the new empi repops or american eagle versions, they also display a nicer center cap, keep up the good work!!

Yeah I hear you on that one.. I have a 1 Ton cherry picker in the rear, modified to get full lift to clear the tires. And in the front will be rested on horses for clearance as well. Lots of towels, cotton balls, diapers and any other kind of soft material to put around.... Confused I have my son helping me out too...My protege..
