Help!
If I have an original 65 type 1, and going to install an original 6v 40 horse, which TO bearing do I use? I see too mnay advertised for sale!
Sorry, don't want to pull the motor if not needed.

Ooooooooops. I meant that I didn't want to pull the motor twice, since I might install the incorrect TO bearing.

are you serious what would happen if i bolted a 6volt trans to a newer style clutch without a pressure plate |

sorry i just looked at the link and it said that the old style throwout bearing need a centering ring on the clutch is that centering ring necessary i saw that and got a little scared because i have an old style trans bolted to a newer motor without a centering ring . as for his question it made me wonder what type of damage would happen if you had the wrong combination (old throw out bearing to a new clutch that doesn't have a centering ring . |

Ahhhhh.... okay... well the info is in that sticky all through out... bad things happen when you mis match early and late PP and TO bearings etc either way. |
