Watching the Rutgers music channel earlier, this little gem came on so i thought i would share.
Link
I was really hoping for a "No VW's were harmed in the making of this video" at the end but was severely disappointed. _________________ -'87 Westy

What a horrid song.
If you pause it when it "hits the tree" it really looks like bad photoshop not like it really hit the tree.
I think it was a fitting ending for the band, but I don't think they or the Vanagon where really hurt. |

WOW that is a bad song and they killed a vanagon. This band will never make it. They will be flipping burgers in no time. |

If my ears could puke, this would be the song that made them do it. _________________ 89 Bluestar-2.5 Subaru Powered-RIP

LMAO!
Yea, it is a poor use of photoshop. If you look at the stills when they are being thrown through the windshield, take note at the headlights they went from round to rectangular and the bumper is completely different. Then look at it as the band lays dead on the shoulder and the other car drives by. Look closely. The van is behind the tree and back to pre-accident form.
Fear not, the van lives on. No doubt about it.
That said, I can't believe I just wasted my time analyzing this video It is better than Britney, but not by much. _________________ “May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.” - Edward Abbey

Dude, where is my van??
that was strange flash back to 1989. For some reason, I didn't think it was that bad until they attempted to create the climax moment with the tree. I would have preferred something more creative, like an engine fire or a bucking, tilting and slow stop only to be passed by a midget on riding on a minibike eating a popcorn ball.
I think its time for me to get MY groove on... |
