why not fit some kind of spacer (caster shims) on the upper beam bracket bolt and between the top tube and the frame support to slightly tilt the front beam (while still supporting it safely) and create some useful caster?
the only slight complication i foresee is the slight tilt in steering arm that could be easily rectified.

you need bottom beam moved towards front of bus not top beam. _________________ Admin note: Bill Passed away - July, 2017

he meant put a shim between the top tube and the frame to move the top tube BACK, which is the same thing as moving the bottom one forwards.
if you used a small shim, you wouldnt have any issues with the steering arm changing angle too much....and any caster is better than no caster. _________________ drive your split. |

We made some up for the '55 panel out of narrowed beam offcuts - did the job! _________________ To catch a fish, you must first think like a fish.... |
