Cool bus!
The fact that you did all the work your self
is gonna make driving it even more fun. _________________ www.volksfahrer.nl

Rebuilt my first VW motor, turns out my diagnosis was correct, the valves were stretched and therefore not opening fully. I converted the sp to dp so that later on I have the option of going to dual carbs. She drives great, here's the maiden voyage.

Thanks for the props guys. Still have to replace the cross braces, dog legs and finish the long side rocker; plenty to keep me interested and out of trouble. _________________ 63 Sedan

Amazing work. I need to do just about the same to mine. Maybe tukis rusts faster than others.
What did you use for matched paint?

out of curiosity, you never welded before, this bus was your practice??? or did you lay some beads on some test metal or something before hand??? i'm a NOOB and have been debating whether or not i wanna save the thousands of dollars in man labor and do the work myself
you did some wonderful fabbing and welding for such a noob. _________________ proud owner of a defunct 1979 sunroof kombi

Sorry I feel bad, bring the bus back and I'll give you a full refund plus the cost of the fuel pump. _________________ 63 Sedan

Haha, I think I'll pass on that one.
It's just par for the course. Every VW I have seems to go through fuel pumps for some reason.
I'm quite happy with it, no worries about that! _________________ All he needed was a wheel in his hand and four on the road.

Oh I will. I'm already in love with this Bus! It was exactly the type of Bus I was looking for.
I just wish show season wasn't pretty much over down here, I can't wait to take it to shows and campouts! _________________ All he needed was a wheel in his hand and four on the road.
