Can someone help tell me what this is in the picture that I’m pointing at.
It has a bracket that holds it in place. I’m not sure what it is or does.
Thanks in advance.

It vents the blowby gases from the crankcase and dumps them into the intake air stream so they can be burnt by the engine. Since you have an aftermarket progressive carburetor, you need to set up a system that dumps the blowby into the top of the air cleaner. This will give the hose sufficient slope so that it drains well and will not clog, and by sending the oily fumes directly into the venturi will not cause an oily mess.

I have a totally different air cleaner from you, but here is a picture of the crankcase ventilation hose and fitting going into the top of my air cleaner. Sorry the pic is out of focus.
