More than likely the angle of the pic. 205/75/R15 on stock rims.

When I bought my 65' it was lowered....and to be honest it looked sweet and it was very fun to drive that way.....but it sucked when we took it camping! We decided to raise it then back to stock height and we are very happy with the results!!

If anyone near Orange County is looking to return their bus, SC, or DC to stock height, let's swap parts. I have a '57 SC donor. |

Keysar-Airing up your tires does NOT qualify as raising your bus back to stock height. Nice try, though, LOL! _________________ "My biggest worry is that when I die, my wife will sell all my parts for what I told her I paid for them"-Jon

I have realized the errors of my ways....and feel I need to atone for my sins against my bus ...
After driving my bus for years being lowered , I came to realize that it wasnt all that it's cracked up to be and that I missed being able to go offroad with it , camping spots , etc ....
A big factor in this decision was that after the car accident (that my wife and I were in last june / july in our vert ghia ) was that driving a lowered bus was not for us anymore ....
So here's a before shot the way we were then ....
And here is HAN Bus now after some much needed wheel well lovin' and a raise back to stock height sitting on some fresh general grabber 27x 8.5 and bus 14" wheels ....
Thanks to Connor ( ovalteenAZ) for hooking me up with some nice wheel well sheetmetal and the 1 ton springs n plates at the last OCTO ...
They went to good use , Thank you !! _________________ JP Kustoms

Thanks Lou !!!! Another bus saved from being a pavement pounder ...
I remember when we were talking about me doing this a while back , and I have to say thanks for lighting the match on the fire ... LOL
Handles great now , the ride is nice and cushy ... I can steer one handed again also , and I don't need a kidney belt riding down the freeway anymore ....
My 58 single cab is up next to get high ..... lol Stay tuned _________________ JP Kustoms
