Wow! Awesome find! As a local guy, I'm interested, what part of Ontario did you find it in? Always love this kind of story, especially up here when they're few and far between! _________________ Check out my video series at www.youtube.com/midnightoilgarage |

south of bancroft. i didn't find it there, my customer did. he moved out to the country from toronto about a year ago and his neighbor had it on his property. _________________ SL |

the history of the bus may never be known. the guy on who's property the bus was sitting simply said it was there when he bought the land. whomever owned the land before might know more.
the only artifacts we found when cleaning it were some 60's pennies and this sheet of paper, which is a map showing mineral sites. the reverse of the paper has more text on minerals. there used to be a lot of mining in the area. nothing else was found inside the bus to give any clues about who left it there. we haven't found anything about the popcorn business yet either.

It sure has suffered from the dreaded "eastern rust". Looks like you have some funky green panels in your future.
Someone made a redneck front bumper for yours similiar to the one my 53 had when I got it.
Any idea where the engine ended up? _________________ 53 Canadian standard oval
