|

Hi guys,
I know that's an old topic and we all clarified, that the intake manifolds between 36hp and 40hp are the same.
I had an 1965 Okrasa engine with 1600ccm and I also thought that the manifolds should be identical to 36hp. Of course, there are different manifolds for Okrasa engines using newer carbs, but I think I'm not the only one here, who thought as long as they were equipped with Solex 32 PICB carbs, the manifolds are always the same.
I then started to check out, if that's right, but it seems like Oettinger built different manifolds depending on the engine type, valves(?) and cubic capacity.
Please take a look on the attached table. I took measurements from my 36hp Okrasa kit, but I don't know the age. Didn't want to take my og. Okrasa engine apart to get another source, but it seems like these 36hp manifolds are the same
Any opinions?
Maybe someone else can take measurements?
Jan
PS: I actually wanted to visualise the topic with some pictures and a proper Excel table, but I'm not able to do so...

Here is Okrasa intake manifols for Rometsch. They don't have the same curvature. Original or homemade ?

I have this odd one, which doesn't look modified. Fits a twin port.

Sorry man I didn't see your post.
It doesn't look home made to me, that was the normal Okrasa manifold after VW introduced the dual port head. Saw a set with these manifolds yesterday, you can check google for more pics.
