I have an issue that needs a quick fix, only needs to last a few more weeks, then a straight Axel swap. I was giving my RGB axle a little more torque when the nut stripped out and the axle, I was wondering if it was possible to re cut some threads? use a smaller nut? any help would be great. Thanks |

Was it only the nut that stripped? get a new nut. I might have a die that big to clean the axle threads, but I'm not positive. either way you might want to just swap out the stub & the nut.
I've seen nuts only strip out and I've put a new one on and have been fine. _________________ -Corey

it's not that bad. Just change the outer half with the stub axle. _________________ -Corey

Shitty aftermarket replacement parts?
Ever heard the story about the Wolfsburg West axle nut with no threads?
Not sure where the nut came from he's using but replacement parts these days are mostly crap. _________________ -Corey
