OK SO FIRST OFF THE heavy tan wire coming from the flasher relay and somewhere else Question HAS to be plugged onto the spade on the back OF THE CLUSTER...once i did this the headlight switch did not affect the guage at all...thanks Busdaddy , good call...if your ever in town hit me up for some brews. now it reads reserve which i really think is accurate.

Well dummy me...after a few trips back and forth to the computer at that time I had come to the conculation that the photo that GOAT had posted were of anothe year. I did PM him and told him a spade was missing close the bolt at the left side of the photo but could not figure out where my missed place black wire went that was attach to the fuel gage spade on the right side.....

Now for the rest of the red faced brain fart.

I found the missing spade hiding, (well it was not hiding or missing) took the brown wire from the I thought missing spade. Put it on the left side of the fuel gage. Then put the black wire where the brown,,Ground,,was and guess what....Now I have a fuel gage. When I turned on the switch it went to full, but I do not know just how full the gas tank is.

If you understand what I just wrote you are doing better then me.

RED FACED DUMMY ME.
