Just thought better late than never...Bob, we are so happy that you're back-on bro...Thank god!! Very Happy

I thought I should post on this thread, but prior to BOB getting sick, he had brought me his 53 oval sunroof to finish... Shocked

He told me to just work on it here and there, but when we would talk on the phone when he was in the hospital, I too would notice him perk up as soon as we talked vw's...BOB is probably one of the best people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting especially if u r on the side road brke down..Bob will roll up smiling eager to help!!! Very Happy

But there is also alot to be said about Bill C. He is one hell of a guy himself!!! I just saw this thread (just got computer) And to Bill and everyone else, You guys are the best...BBB 2010...My first one...U done w/ that westy BOB? Very Happy

Hoping to get some good eats on with good friends...Maybe we'll get to have another good talk again about life Bob!! That was really cool!!! Smile

I am happy to say that I am home and getting stronger each and every day. My family and I want to thank everyone for your positive thoughts and prayers, you will never know how much it meant to us.

Bill, thanks for being such an amazing friend. You were there for my family and me during my darkest hours and I don't think I could have gotten through it without you.

Also want to thank VW Howard and everyone at Havasu for the care package. That was a really cool thing for you guys to do. It killed me to miss that trip, but you better believe I will be making up for lost time when I am back to 100%.

Thanks to everyone else who continued to check up on my status and I look forward to seeing everyone at the next show.

Would it be posable to set a side one of your dice run t-shirts (large) for Bob? I will pick it up for him on Thur afternoon. Last year by the time we got there all the larges were already gone.

Like Bob, you have been around the Vw crowd for a long time.
Sending good vibes for Bob to start the new year is way cool.
I have talked to many of Bobs friends, they are all wishing Bob a fast recovery! and happyer days! He is chewing at the bits to do some camping Very Happy

But, needs to chill for awhile, real nice to know Bob has so many good friends.

I just talked to Bob he said he is feeling 100% better. Again he hopes to be out in a few days. VWHoward, BarryL and Jon, I let Bob know that you all wished him a merry X-mas. I could tell in his voice that it put a big smile on his face Smile

Hi all;
I wanted to let you know, Bob did get released from the hospital on Thurs night and has been doing well. I have droped a line or two to see how home life has been treating him. Odd??? no return calls. Ok with me, time to settle in right !! Just got a call from Bob, he just got an am-bow ride back to the hospital and is haveing some issues. He said it should be a quick fix but dose not plan to be home for X-Mass Crying or Very sad

Not to sound like a bitch, if you have a min or two to throw a guy a bone. Lets pray and tip one this year for Bob and his loveing family.

Talked to Bob yesterday morning and he is doing great. He is eating solid food! and hopes to go home today for more r and r. Lost some weight and is ready to gain it back. Will collect a care package for him at BBBXIII. Hang in there Bob, you're on the way up finally Very Happy
