Aaron, your bus was my favorite car at the Seattle show. I saw it driving in and literally stopped what I was doing to check it out.

Very cool ride.

The nose looks nice, is the dog leg badge going back on the dogleg?

I was lucky enough to visit with Aaron, Jake, and the barndoor on Friday before the vintage meet.
That drive up the PNW was simply beautiful in every way.
Thanks, Aaron for letting me invite my way up there.

And Gibbs, you should see the ghost lines from the green and light green '70's paintjob all over the bus. I hope a photo of it in its lined-out glory surfaces.

Lastly, the green tinged roof rack Aaron is rocking on the bus is not original to it, but looks like it totally belongs, it just matches.

Quick Shot form last weekend - thought it went along well with the previous shot - though, admittedly, it's not the best shot of the '54 Rolling Eyes

Very cool Aaron, the smile on Corey is priceless! After 13 years of hearing about this Barndoor, it has surfaced, I no longer have to call him a liar! Corey, you should have paid the $300 for it back then!

its funny, Aarons total piece of shit looks like a fucking giant brick of gold to me.

its not colombian, its not very rusty, and its not very molested. How many barndoors are popping up like this in 2009? yeah...almost none. You can buy a playdoh sculpture from south america, or a pile of corroded steel from europe.

mmm this looks delicious

52brezelfenster: Thank you. For what it's worth, your car was my favorite.

BryanM: badge has been returned to the dogleg.

John: You are welcome anytime. Thursday night drive-in and camping in P.T. next year?

Long-roofs: Wish you could have made it over. Maybe next year with your BD?

Thanks Mark R. for the shift coupler cover

I don't believe it, Lind is back. Have you been in jail since the Classics weekend?

From what I understand, it was not included in the sale. Oh well.

Nope, wasn't included in the sale. I paid close to $100 for it. I would be happy to check my records and offer it for sale for what I paid.

Lind,
I know you took this out of your stash to sell, so I would be more than happy to send it back to your stash for what I paid. I'll even eat shipping.

Aaron , The BD rules! love the DLX dash. I like your idea with saving the scalloped decklid as wall art and replacing it with another. If you need to paint one to match let me know, I know a guy that has some experience with matching patina.
