Anyone produce 36Hp bolt up rocker shafts on their own? Having trouble finding any.

I made solid shafts for my 36hp. Samba member RWK did the machine work on the shafts. I found steel tube online that slipped over the shaft for the center and drilled/tapped it for a set screw. Used belmetric.com for washers and bolts. Rockers are AAperfromance 1.15 with CB Performance elephant foot adjusters. Pushrods are Empi 5/16 cut to length.

What lifters / Camshaft are you using with this setup...? I'm sure you said somewhere, But I can't remember..

What lifters / Camshaft are you using with this setup...? I'm sure you said somewhere, But I can't remember..


AA performance solid lifters. WW cam blank ground by web cam to Porsche 356 1500 sport pre A grind # 1630. .335 lift 290 duration 268 duration @.050

I have not seen those before. I like the idea of the spring tension on the exhaust valves....I bet that is a quieter setup.

Yes they must be a little quieter...Stefi G.. makes some nice products and also his rocker shafts are much stronger ...I would like to see the rocker arms shafts drilled all the way though the center for lighter weight just like how the porsche 356 b/c/sc aluminum stand rocker arm shafts were done ....
