I work for a Pharmaceutical printing company, when we type set jobs for pharmaceutical companies we have to proof read every job word for word. Sometimes a 24X39 inch insert with 6pt type, usually takes a couple days to proof read front and back. The reason for this is because when we go to print if there is a misspelled word and the product gets out in the market we could be liable if a medication is taken wrong. Then the FDA would have a re-call and that could cost our company millions. So we take proof reading seriously. As for a magazines with typos,no harm no foul.

Is anyone buying the subscription offered on Amazon and notice it's less expensive than buying direct on the HVW website? Kind of confused as to how that works out.

Obviously you don't fish, HVW allows Amazon to toss out the bait, you get hooked, HVW gets the the renewal after a year at regular price, doesn't work all the time but neither does reeling in the fish.

I don't know about the Navy requirements now, but back when I started working for Aerospace Contractors 34 years ago.
The Navy Specification for tech manuals was that they are to be written at or below 4th grade reading level.

That Amazon offer to a one year subscription to Hot VWs for $22.97 still says from Wright Publishing.... Seriously out of date and needs to be either up-dated or removed. Not sure if Shin has seen this page...

I think that OCI Media, the new owner/operatorsof Hot VWs Magazine, would NOT have to honor that Amazon subscription, as they are no longer Wright Publishing...
