That is such a classy paint combo, +1000

After being parked for 20 years my European Delivery 1967 Titian Red/Beige Grey SO42 Walkthrough Westfalia is ready for some adventures again. I bought this Bus 21 years ago from the original owners family in Pasadena,CA. The original owner picked this Westy up new in Stuttagrt,Germany and toured Europe before shipping it home. Sometime in the mid 1970’s it went on an adventure to Baja/Mexico. Wish I would’ve gotten pictures and more information from the family. It’s been repainted once many years ago. It’s starting to peel off in a few places and showing some of its original paint. I’m half tempted to strip it down to see how much of the original paint is left. There definitely is factory primer poking out from the original Titian Red paint patch that I color sanded down to. Very tempting! Should I strip it down or leave it as is?

my 66 was oxidized to a dark brown in the 90s. I repainted it. Looked sharp. was my daily for a long time.
