Other than the Fram filters, was there any other US company that made those aftermarket filters for early engines? I have one with no manufacture stamp on it other than a product code MP-31 I think it says and the words Inlet and Outlet embossed on it. UIt was rusty so there was no reliable paint fragments left. The mounting band looks awfully narrow compared to most of the Fram ones I've seen.
