I refinished and installed mine on my Thing.

Cal Parts was the name but they are out of business now.
6x15 is gonna fit on a VW.
The only variable is how much you can lower the car with them on it.
Wheels/tires/stance is our own individual engineering projects.
Buy the wheels first and tires last. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

I know that these rims fit on a VW. I also know that this company no longer exists and that cal Parts was the name of the company. What I don't know, however, is the offset of these rims. I'll also buy the tires last.
Thanks Mike |

hello, yes I could do that. i just bought these rims and they are now on their way from usa to germany. I will soon be able to measure this myself. it could have been that someone has already measured these rims and can give me an indication in advance. |

That first picture was from back in 2005 when I mounted my ET's one a stock width beam with adjusters and Empi disc brakes. I ended up with a Franklin's 3" narrowed beam with dropped spindles and discs. I could only run 185's on the back with short axles or it would rub. This car was sold to Pete Morley in England so the wheels are over there somewhere as I know he took them off.[/img] _________________ 1967 beetle

Hello everyone, I finally got my set of cal parts rims and I wanted to report what offset these rims have, because it is nowhere to be found on the internet.
the offset (in german einpresstiefe )is et -25 measured in millimeters.
in us it is -1 inch
Here are some pictures of the cal parts wheels:

Good looking 5 spoke wheels!
Maybe 185X60 tires on them?
You can buy pairs of used tires cheap for trial fitment/clearance. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

I will try to drive with 205 55 on the rear axle and 165 45 on the front axle. I will keep you up to date. |
