sweet spot on switch

on the 69 im working on for family, the turn switch has a sweet spot that is just before it stops, the problem is the arm sits past this point and will not indicate the right hand turn, is this thing dead? also my front quarter lights will not indicate if the switch is half pulled out. thanks.

open it up. It sounds like the contact is worn, perhaps you can spruce it up and clean it out.
