|
|
I went to replace some Rear Light Assembly bulbs for the first time today.
I discovered that both the left and right rear light assemblies were missing the lower middle bulbs AND their respective metal connectors.
My Haynes Manual shows a picture of the assembly with a bulb present in the lower middle position.
I wonder why my assembly would be missing the metal connector. Can they be replaced?
Does anyone know about this sort of thing?
My dog, Bernard, who was supervising my work didn't have any answers either...
I appreciate any help...and instructions!

The empty space is for european fog lights. This wasn't installed on the models sold in the US. _________________ 1989 Vanagon Syncro |

Thanks doublez72!
It's too bad that the socket wasn't fitted with the metal connector.
I'd love to add a bulb in order to have more visibility when driving at night.
BTW, my pic of the rear lights were taken while the brake light was activated. |

Using 1156-R45-T and 1156-R26-T with extra brake light in the blank spot. These are brighter than incandescent 1156 bulbs I replaced.
