How and wear do you check the fluid for the trany on my jeta?
The guy at the dealership said it had to come in is this true?

no sorry, is it an automatic. if it is the only way to check it is with vag-com. there is a plug on the bottom of the trans, and when it is at proper temp the fluid will drip out. being said the only way to know the proper temp is with vag-com or dealer computer. not fun to do at all

im pretty sure the dealer is the way to go. you have to have it measured. theres no dip stick.
