its fricken early, and bad ass. i do hope it still exists. i would give anything to see it in person, and take pics, look it over etc. it is simply BAD ASS.

i could be wrong but that looks like the binz dan kinsey owned and when jeff keller owned it and had it dressed in 57 gear.around 96 he drove it to florida like that...

Hard to tell for 100% certainty from the pictures but I do believe that is my old Binz. They all look alike...

this is for certain Kellers/Kinseys old binz. and judging by the solid blue front bumper and 2 tone rear, they are the same.

here is another one which i believe was originally from New mexico. its not mine so i am not going to mention anything else. as i understand it, this is one of only a couple known Binz's that were originally white. i dont know that for a fact though.

Don't run away. That is the original back seat to my Binz in that truck. I would like to get it back someday.

I doubt a Binz owner would ever willingly give up the rear seat unless the rest of the bus is toast and even then I'm sure it won't be cheap. The seat would be real easy to reproduce though.

Im suprised you posted those, I thought the blue one was still on confidential status?

I know of 2 rear seats floating around (not for sale though), one of which the authenticity is questioned but seems to be perfect except for one issue regarding the legs. I still wouldn't be suprised if they took the seat from another vehicle back then.

I remember you telling me about the blue one for all those years, it was $500...right? I just can't roll one, that body line down the drivers side is just wrong.

I bought it from Doug Denlinger who bought it from Dan Lawson, both of the Phoenix area of Arizona. I believe it originally came from an Arizona / Mexico border town but have no proof. Just stories.

Some pictures of it before I owned it are here http://vintagewarehouse.com/Binz.htm

A thread with the current "work" being done is here http://lowbus.com/BB/index.php?topic=101.new#new

I talked with the previous owner of a Binz here in South Carolina about a year ago. Does anybody know of one that came from here?

Yeah, I am sure I am going to have to make mine. Story is that a guy in New Mexico had 3 in the 80's. Mine (116), the other white one (114), & (73). He started restoring mine & was driving number 114. He only had one rear seat, which came from mine, so he put it in the truck he was driving.
