brakelight decklid doesnt seem to go with low truck semaphores, but being a forest find it isnt like someone faked in the semaphores either. strange. maybe it got a decklid replacement at some point and its a late '58 / '59?

This Bus is Kick Ass. Has it been pulled out yet? It is one that definitely needs to be saved.

I dont agree or disagree, I dont think we can tell for SURE if those are bubbles holes. Early dollar lense holes did not have the notches for the screws, just TINY little holes which would not be visible in a small photo like that. Im waiting for a binz tag (or vin tag), or a much better shot of the ass.

either way its still a swedish semaphore binz. One of the coolest (if not THE coolest) binz to exist.

Just uh.... zoom in and look at that passenger side fat base mirror arm.
You know the types of fat base mirror arm that exist. My 57 has The fattest style on the driver side, and the last style of the fat base on the pass side.
This binz has the early fattest style on the passenger side. This bus is without any doubt to me earlier than april 57.
I am a believer, and i like to see monster buses show up. So im being as positive as i can. hence the fingers crossed comment. Wink

Brakelight decklid semaphore busses use the flat glass lights with the built in reflectors. There wouldn't be holes above and below the taillight opening. If the decklid is original it's May '58 or earlier for certain.

right, I just meant that the picture is not clear enough to be sure it is bubble/euro (you make a good point about it being euro, so there would be no bubble lenses anyway) lense over dollar lenses.

still, all of this (including the mirror arms) is just speculation because any and all of those parts could easily have been switched. I am not trying to be a pessimist, just discussing the possibilities. I hope it is an early truck!
