Wow. I guess there are a few advantages to getting older. Smile Odd that your bus would be more to insure than your Ford. Are you sure they understand what your bus is? My ins. co. needed some help because they kept telling me i had the wrong VIN. Rolling Eyes

Whatever you do, don't drive your bus again until you get it insured.

called up the isurance company today, waiting for a call back. did an online quote last night and it was outrageous. insurance for my car alone for 6 months is like 261. with the bus added on it was 1308 for 6 months. theres no way. i guess ill just wait for them to call me back.

hey ronnie, since you is shipping out parts, you may as well ship the childs cot to the guy in salt lake who bought your flip seat (it really is about time) and it really would top his bus off...thank you in advance for shipping that...

If Kris would send me his address I could send the cot. All he has to do is call. I showed his ad to 2 different people looking for a Westy and told them I still had the cot to it.

I hope you have taken care of this? Also, look into adding towing on your policy if you have not already. It's usually really cheap. It costs me $2 every 6 months for towing on my bus. Smile I also have AAA just in case.

well, just got home from work. drove the westy there and back. choke works, engine works!! bus did great!!! if it goes good till sunday ill add it back on to my insurance on monday and drive it as much as possible. kinda scared me once tho... my dimmer switch doesnt work, and in the parking lot at work i went to turn on the lights, and nothing happened. i must have hit the switch on my way out and i forgot that i have no high beams... Embarassed lol. its strange driving a bus again after only driving my ford for so long, lol.... loose front end, have to stand on the brakes to stop, and not to mention i sit much higher in it than in the car. Very Happy

Josh,

If you are not in too big a hurry, I have the "sled" 40 horse motor sitting in my garage, just collecting dust. I can pull the oil cooler for you, probably on New Year's Day, and send it to you if it's good. It's condition is unknown, but I can soon find out. Shoot me a PM if interested.

Air should be fine. You'll hear it leaking out if the cooler has a crack in it.
