You rockin' temps or those DOT 125's?
I've gots the 145/65's on my Type 3, I like them a lot. My car is a 66, so it has front disc and these tires have enough contact to hold their own. The best handling small tire I've ever had, the only down side is that they make the diameter of the wheel a little too small and the car likes to hit the ground more than with a taller tire. The T3 beam is also closer to the ground than a LP T1 beam, my T1 is rockin' 145's up front but that's a different story.
Here's my square down 3 splines on stock beam and 145/65/15's, they are a cunt hair taller and skinnier but about the same size as a 155/60

Tirerack.com has them for $63 each. I have been buying all my "normal" car tires and my company car tires from them for several years. No complaints....... _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.

i am corrently running the 145/65 on stock steel rims and are just as good as the 155/60 but fit better on the narrow rim. ill roll the 155/60 on anything over 5.5 and the 145/65 on anything smaller |

Once you get them what are you paying to have them mounted and balanced?

I don't remeber - I just have the shop fax the bill to the office and accts payable just writes the check
See what your local shops charge. I actually just have the tires drop shipped right to the shop (Of course you want to check with your shop to make sure its OK with them) - Tires usually show up next day or 2 days worse case. No I take that back. Once I ordered these goofy sized Yokahamas for one of the SUV's and they didn't have them in stock on the east coast. I think that one time it took 4 days. _________________ D-Dubya Manx clone - 63 Short pan,1914.
