Nobody has every remade the "larger" early Ghia windshield have they?
Also, since I had my manuals out, I noticed that right hand drive cars had glass with a different part number???? Must be made of glass to withstand all that rain 144 845 101 |

| I was waiting for someone more knowledgable to chime in but I do know you can buy new glass from any glass shop. While it is shorter (correct for later cars) I've heard you can shim it so it will fit with the correct rubber and trim. |

I've heard the same thing but was just hoping there might have been somebody out there. |

Rich, mine is a later OG VW windshield and I shimmed it with clear setting blocks and VHB tape. I can get some for you at the next P-Town if needed. _________________ It's not about the window, it's about the people.

I have sourced a w/s that is 17 3/16" tall, but it has a light green tint to it. I have found nothing in clear glass. _________________ House of Ghia, since 1980
