nc triad area

anyone know of shows or cruise ins or clubs in the triad north carolina area? just got my 63 type 1 done and am looking for some like minded people to hang out with. there are a lot of shows in the area and i know there are some nice vws here so there has to be a weekly meeting of some sort! here is what i have been working on for the last two years,

We have some members in the Charlotte area.
and there is the Swoogers cruise once a month.
Should be plenty of people who you can run with who will chime in.

We meet every Thursday in Greensboro at Herbie's on Battleground Ave. 7pm. Next show in the area is the indoor show at the Greensboro Coliseum on Feb. 1st

Man thats one awsome vdub. what part of the triad are you from winston g-boro- charllote i havent seen it around anywhere around here winston area im always out driving mine atleast a couple days a week its not as nice as yours but i have been working on it for years. i have the exterior pretty much done and just finished up a new motor this past summer . all thats left is the interior. im always lookin for people in my area to meet up with ive been out to herbies before it was ok . here lately i have been going up to mountairy to meet with those guys seems llike i have to drive atleast 45 min to an hour to find a group would love to get somthing going in the winston area but you just dont see alot of dubs in this area im sure there out there but i rarley see them if you in the winston area or close hit me up ... my name is danny my email address is [email protected] .. and again nice dub . really like the photo show nice

I'm in the winston area, right now in yadkinville, but moving to between farmington and advance at the end of the month. Give me a shout and we can meet up some time, I've got a 55 and my buddy rob is working on a 61 rag. He's waiting on his engine to get back and he'll be ready to cruize. I'm sure he's in to get a cruize in night started in this area. I'm hoping to have a VW get together/cookout the night before Farmington at my new house. It will be the fall show before I can get it started at the earliest tho, may be next spring.

Hey rob did you buddie ever get his 61 up and running?? ive had some electrical problems with mine the past couple days but im pretty sure ive got it fixed ... im driving mine everyday for the moment i sold my daily car and am in the middle of getting a new daily well new to me .. trying to get up enough to buy an 88 german spec cabby that a guy has shouldnt be long till i get it i hate driving mine everyday the past 2 days have been terrible with all the rain and cold weather its been a pill to drive its only about a 6 mile ride from work to home and it gets warmed up and running good about the time i get home . as soon as he gets it up and running and we have some good weather we need to get up. maybe one weekend we all can get up and go to the meet up in mount airy if you guys are up for it . the meets are once a month on saturdays from about 5.00pm until or we can just cruise around town somewhere .
