I like the car on account of all the work that went into it. I'm not a fan of everything, but overall it's cool. Not an easy task to shoehorn that engine/trans/driveline/rearend into a ghia.

I would love to see some of the cars you have built that would even be in the same ballpark as what Chip can do. Rolling Eyes

Chip Foose is a designer and started out rather wealthy. He doesn't build the cars, he has workers who actually have the skills build them. My biggest issue with the guy is he takes cars and puts mild differences to them and then paints a different color. It's not that I don't like the cars he's done, I just don't like him.

All I can say about chip is that I am a backhoe operator an I was removing the street in front of his house a couple of years ago . I knew it was his house from the cars in the drive way, when he came outside I asked him if he would sign my backhoe he said sure with a big smile an took out a marker a drew picture of the backhoe on the boom tearing out the street it was sweet . people would check it out an they were amazed ...

I was just going by the "mamba" insignia on the valve covers of the motor. (Which I misread for "black mamba." d'oh!)

And thank you for the snake eating the rat image. My recently eaten lunch thanks you. Wink Laughing

Fantastic car! If someone tossed me the keys for a test drive, I sure wouldn't turn it down.

It is no Rodbuster. But it is probably the most labor intensive build since. I like to see people go over the top with there ideas.

That was just an excuse they gave as the damn cam sensor went bad and it wouldnt run without backfiring, which also disqualified them for the Ridler.

That's hilarious. Every time I hear dudes talking Dodge, I always hear the "cam sensor" mentioned. Seems to be a real problem with them.

Wow! I was just talking about this car the other day, I thought it'd never be finished! But you proved me wrong! I like it more than I thought I would as well. I like the wheels, the interior and engine stuff is a bit too swoopy and billet for me but I do appreciate the work. The touch buttons are kind of cool, I wonder how those work in a custom application.
