Today I spent some time with a fabricator that had a pipe bender. I always wanted to add a brush guard to the big tube bumpers that were on the Syncro.

I just finished welding them up and painted.

If I ever do happen to catch a deer or whatever, hopefully this will take some of the impact instead of the front.

ID dimensions are 64" wide x 10" tall. The bend to follow the big tube bumper curve is 2" spaced 14" from center on each side.

Made for a Toyota tundra. $125 shipped off ebay...had to work the brackets a bit and retrofit a smaller rear washer fluid bottle up front.

Here is my old post. I never did fall in love with the rounded brush guard. I saw someone else make one with the look I wanted. (thanks Alaric H.) Wink
Found this brush guard from a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, cut and fabricated it to fit my big tube bumper. This is the look I was after. Only $50 and a few hours of my time.
