Hi, a friend of mine gave me his Solex Brosel H30/31 PICT carb but has the fuel shut off solenoid on the side of it. I was planning on using it for my 1500 s/p build using a vacuum advance 009 I believe. Besides putting a rebuild kit on it, would this carb work? I'm just not sure about the cut off solenoid? I know this is a carb for a later engine so thats why I'm asking, thanks in advance |

It should work fine. I have the 30 PICT on my 1600 single port with a vacuum advance distributor and it runs great. _________________ 1965 VW Beetle |

To make things less confusing I would reccommend referring to the distributor by its VW part number: 113 905 205 K. That distributor was stock for 1300 cc and 1500 cc so you should be fine. Make sure you have the correct vacuum can:
