Yeah, but not only that GoDaddy just rehired Danica for her last two races.
They need to look at our girl post-Danica:

Stupid question, but I honestly don’t know... What advantage do Tubular Upper Control Arms offer to 2WD Westys? _________________ 1990 Multivan - "Ohana"

These are now billet aluminum $$$. The now "old" as of today 2wd UCAs were tubular.
My understanding is that lift springs can change the geometry to the point that it's not possible to get the alignment within factory specs. Ball joint spacers help with this. I'm going to assume the geometry of the Burley arms corrects for this, like the spacers would.
http://www.gowesty.com/tech-article-details.php?id=109
In addition to that, Burley UCAs will be stronger than factory and they eliminate the rubber bushings, replacing them with heim joints with zerk fittings so they're regreasable and rebuildable. Looks like they're built to last a few lifetimes, with no bushings to replace. Should stay tighter, longer.
correct me if I'm wrong. |

With this info I would have used the BMS big brakes. Rhein wheels are the best looking IMHO and I’d like to have the option to run them. Still happy though. _________________ - Jim

That’s all well and good, but it seems that you forgot to mention that anodized billet aluminum sounds and looks like some of the most bada** stuff seen on a 2WD Vanagon. _________________ - Jim

Overkill, in the best way possible.
I agree about the brake kit though. I've never experienced real, extended brake fade until owning my vanagon (and it has good brakes). Burley's BBK will be next, even though I want these control arms so bad... |

As the costs of steel and manufacturing rise, we at Burley Motorsports are acutely aware of how this may affect our customers. In an effort to help you stay ahead of the rising costs of keeping your beloved van on the road, we are debuting our new line of Parts....affordable, aftermarket alternatives for your van.
Here is just a sampling of our new, cost-conscious Parts line:

Used to replace OEM Turn Signal Switch on a Vanagon or Syncro.
Windshield Wiper Lever
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/windshield-wiper-lever-patriot-parts/
Part Number: 251953519C
Used to replace OEM Wiper / Washer Switch on a Vanagon or Syncro.
Left Tail Light Lens
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/left-tail-light-lens-patriot-parts/

Our September sales are posted, and a new shipment of our brakes hoses are back in stock!!
For September we have four popular items up for sale:
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/930-cv-joint-lobro/
Reduced an additional 12 %, we are offering genuine Lobro CV Joints for $79.00 for the month of September!
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/brake-hoses/
Made in the USA! BMS has the complete set of front and rear, braided-stainless steel, DOT-approved, 3-layer brake hoses with a 9K psi burst capacity BACK IN THE HOUSE! We already offer the best price on the market for these stock Vanagon and Syncro hoses, but are welcoming a new shipment in with a sale! Usually $79.00 for all four hoses (2 front and 2 rear), we have shaved an additional few dollars off to offer them at $69.00. Best deal around!
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/rear-disc-brake-kit-new-generation/
Our BMS New Gen Rear Disc Brake kit comes with your choice of Cross-Drilled Slotted Rotors or with Solid Rotors. Each type kit is offered at $50.00 off the original price.
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/urethane-rear-trailing-arm-bushing-kit/
Bushings are a Burley Motorsports specialty. Made of urethane, our Rear Trailing Arm Bushings always use stainless steel sleeves and a slotted-inner bore to hold the grease. These bushings are the best the aftermarket has to offer! At almost 30% off retail for the month of September, these items will be going quickly!
In addition to our brake hoses, all of our "Made-in-th-USA", DOT-approved Clutch Hoses have come in!. We offer each as 2WD- and 4WD-specific hoses, so they fit perfectly!
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/vanagon-hydraulic-clutch-slave-cylinder-hose/
The 2WD Hydraulic Clutch Slave Cylinder Hose replaces the rubber hose, hardline pipe, one of the two clips, a bracket and bolt on the early-style van OR it replaces the plastic hardline, bolt, and both washers on a late-style van. Make the complicated easy with picture instructions located on our website!
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/syncro-hydraulic-clutch-slave-cylinder-hose/
The 4WD Hydraulic Clutch Slave Cylinder Hose also replaces the plastic hardline, bolt, and both washers.
And our last specialty hose, the Clutch Master Cylinder Hose, came in as well!
https://burleymotorsports.net/product/clutch-master-cylinder-hose/
In addition, our Clutch Master Cylinder Hose fits nicely on both 4WD Syncros and 2WD Vanagons, early- and late-style models!
Please, come and check us out! We welcome any questions you may have and are here to help! _________________ Protect your investment !

On the high angle axles...
A) are they a stock VW bolt configuration, or the 944 bolt pattern?
B) if they are stock VW, what keeps them from fitting an aircooled transmission? (The joints, not the axle length itself)
I ask to know if I can take the joint and install it on a automatic axle, and put it on an aircooled...
Thanks! _________________ Stuart Zickefoose
