well im not sure if this fits into this forum, so if not please send it over to the general performance section.
Ive been kicking around the idea of running some SU's on a 1600 or maybe 1776. I really like the look of HS6's but I think they might be a bit big, although one might be able to jet it down enough. I have experience with these on early/mid 60's volvo's (1800 cc's) and have always liked them. Of course Im not looking for top performance, just something that looks cool and is efficient. My plan is for a very mild single port 1776, just a cam (maybe 110), c/w crank. and some other misc upgrades.
Does anyone have much experience with these style sidedraft bell carbs?
I dont think making linkage would be an issue for me.
or maybe drop down in size to a HS4?
