I would roll something like that. Light, just slide in the window. 100% chance of death in big accident. but hey, NO RUST. keep an eye regularly in the classifieds, the come and go fast, but cheap.

yes there is at least 1 co. that i know of that produces a all original looking glass body, but I think that it is for a v8 vw, they may also make a standard one as well, I can't remember. I will see if I cant find it again and post back with the addy. for you.

I saw them earlier, I am thinking they are specific to the race series. The series has arrived in the States, I will have to check.

I Just grabbed the full production molds from Funcup USA. Ill start production when our new extension building will be done next week!

also this is the first funcup imported in the USA in 2006 that I also bought in the deal.

When I read this thread a few months ago I thought I remembered seeing a full fiberglass VW sedan body in an old magazine. So today I took my stack of old KITCAR Magazines and paged through them. In a 1992 issue I found that the Wizard Roadster guys built a full fiberglass VW sedan body. Don't know if any went into production. I stopped getting the Magazine soon after. Didn't BGW Specter produce the Wizard roadster after Wizard?

Anyway there were 2 grainy B/W pictures.
