just started Fitting the outer support
If you can tell I chose to run the out side skin up to the middle of the cross brace.
I also trimmed up the lower Dogleg
and started to fit panels
Next final fitting and welding |

Last week we were able to weld in the pillars.
And start to button it up the long panel. I was very glad that I chose to go up to the inside support verses just 7 inches up. By doing this I was able to remove the body damage

I have the B pillar the rocker panel below the doors and the cargo floors to install.
Question:
Should I install the floors next and then install pillar and rocker using floor as guide?
OR
Install pillar using rocker as guide and fit floor after? |

I did the floor last. Install the pillar/rockers, tack to hold, then make sure you check cargo doord fitment.

Did you have problems getting the rocker to fit properly?
It looks like I am going to have to bend the top of the rocker a considerable amount to fit correctly |

Yes, it took me (an amateur) hours to get the best fit. The rocker has to line up with the b and c pillars, inner rocker, short side rocker, floor height, cargo doors and dogleg all at the same time. I didn't have to bend anything, just keep playing with the alignment. _________________ 63 Sedan

Fittted a gerson floor myself ,tight fit getting it past spare wheel bulge.
Hardest bit for me was trimming around the heater tubes.
U will find that u need to make up flat floor plates for over the keyholes for the seat fixings( if ur using a middle seat) varies depending on seat legs and a decent catch plate.
Satisfying job to do grinding down all them welds neat is fun, greatwork there buddy _________________ Table top restorer! |

I removed my heater pipe to install the floor.
Also I bought the flat floor plates from Gerson.
