It is an 1835cc with a single carb. The color is actually in the gelcoat. I had the body builder lay it in stock VW 1959 Fjord Blue, my favorite vintage color.

I guess we will find out if anyone thinks our designs are cool. I know my cage is what I thought was a good design, more for safety vs the cool factor. My cage design is a trade off of style vs form. It is tied into the frame in 8 places; however, my load transfer from the rear hoop to the rear of the buggy is not optimal. I should also have more side protection, seat size and the width of the buggy limited the options. I am sure we can all pick apart every cage.

I love these threads. I enjoyed building my frame and cage immensely. See my signature for a build up of my buggy and now my neighbors buggy if interested.
Almost a unibody type set up with no tunnel. The car is rock solid. 10 maybe 12 point set up if you consider the shock towers in the rear and wish bone supports.

They all look like crap. Get a sandrail if you need to wrap yourself in tubes.

I started out with 4 twenty foot lengths. Just about used all of it. maybe 10 feet left total.
I also have a bit of 1" for the dash bar, seat belt bar behind the seats, bumpers(I use the term loosely). About 20 feet total of 1".
