Thorsten did an amazing job refurbishing my speedometer out of the Marmite Bus.

I wanted a sympathetic restoration of the speedo to keep the slight patina it has earned over the years.

When I sent it to Thorsten the speedometer didn't work and it was grubby and generally tired.

When I got it back it looked perfect, just as I had sent it but cleaner.

Thorsten fixed the speedometer, re calibrated it to my 165/50/15 tyres, replaced the gels, chrome ring and glass. Supplied new 12v bulbs and new bulb holders and its amazing.

All this done and I got it back within 2 weeks of posting it!

I have never had a working speedo in the bus and have used a satnav for the past 7 years to show my speed. I have tested the newly refurbished speedo and it is completely accurate with my satnav between 0 - 80mph. (I have tested this!)

Many thanks to Thorsten for offering this service. Highly recommended!

What a great find--my car, 1966 Karmann Ghia, placed 1st in its class in the Nurburgring Eifel hill climb race. The trophy is a thing of beauty. Hope to find more items on this web site.

Perfect transaction and the speedo is NEW BEFORE 51 years..

I had an issue with a non-functioning odometer on my speedo, so I emailed Thorsten to see if he could help. He diagnosed what the issue was and so I sent it off for repair and refurbishment.

As part of the process I also took the opportunity to get the odometer reset to zero as well as having all the bulbs changed to 12v at the same time.

Thorsten returned the completed speedo really quickly, and I have to say his standard of work and communication are excellent. My speedo has been totally transformed, it really does look like new again!

I’m really looking forward to getting it back in the bus and seeing the new coloured gels correctly illuminated with 12v bulbs Cool

I cannot recommend his work highly enough, many, many thanks Thorsten! Very Happy
